Since the program has been in operation, various evaluation and outcome statistics have shown that these integrative methods do indeed relieve pain and anxiety, and that patient and staff satisfaction have greatly increased since the programís inception.

Humane healing programs like this, which introduce holistic therapies to hospitalized patients, enhance and humanize standard hospital care. We are so very gratified to see them appearing all over the country, thanks to visionary docs like Pam Kirchner and their talented colleagues.
